Triethanolamine is an amine compound. Tri (2-hydroxyethyl) amine, which can be seen as a trihydroxyl substitute. Similar to other amines, triethanolamine is weakly basic due to the presence of lone pair electrons on the nitrogen atom and can react with inorganic or organic acids to form salts. Properties: Colorless to light yellow transparent viscous liquid, slightly taste, low temperature becomes colorless to light yellow cubic crystal crystal. Dew darkens as it is exposed to air. It is easily soluble in water, ethanol, glycerol and ethylene glycol, slightly soluble in benzene, ether, and almost insoluble in non-polar solvents. It's stimulating. It is hygroscopic. Can absorb carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide and other acidic gases.

Application
