Product Description
Benzophenone-3 is a high-efficienct UV radiation absorbing agent, capable of effectively absorbing UV radiation of 290-400 nm wavelength ,but it almost does not absorb visible light, particularly applicable to light-colored transparent products. It is well stable to light and heat, not decomposable below 200°C, applicable to paint and various plastic products,particular effective to polyvinyl chloirde, polystyrene, polyurethane, acrylic resin, light-colored transparent furniture, as well as to cosmetics , with the dosage of 0.1-0.5%.
Application :
1.Sunscreen Lotions and Sprays: It is commonly found in sunscreens, suntan lotions, and other sun protection products where it is used to block UVA radiation.
2.Cosmetics and Personal Care Products: Benzophenone-3 can be used in a variety of cosmetics, including foundations, moisturizers, and lip balms, to provide incidental sun protection.
3.Hair Care: It is occasionally used in hair care products, particularly those intended for outdoor use, to shield hair and hair color from fading due to sun exposure.
